Bubby’s Gallery Opening
Bubby’s Tribeca, New York
The opening took place as a brunch - an intentional choice that dissolved the formality of a traditional vernissage and replaced it with something warmer and more alive. Media, fellow artists, and prestigious gallerist Rodrigo Salomon from Salomon Art Gallery, gathered in the space where Silver's artistic life began, to witness both an unveiling and a homecoming.
The works brought together Silver's signature visual language - his deep connection to the female form, to American iconography, and to the unexpected beauty found in everyday subjects - under a title that is itself a provocation: “Women, Dandelions, and Rodeos”. Three things that are fragile, wild, and underestimated. Three things that are far more powerful than they appear.
DOHART handled the full production of the event, curation and artistic direction, guest list strategy, invitations, and set up logistics.
