NYC meets BCN
June 18th, 2025 - Studio 46, Barcelona, Spain
The second edition of the dialogue between Ron Silver and Juliana Plexxo - this time returning to the place where it all began.
Following the success of their first joint exhibition in Manhattan in April 2025, Silver and Plexxo brought the show to Barcelona's iconic Studio 46 - the legendary printmaking atelier that has hosted Miró, Tàpies, Chagall, and Dalí, and the very space where the two artists first met and felt the creative connection that sparked this entire series.
The exhibition continued their shared project: a living dialogue between two cities, two artistic traditions, and two visions of what contemporary painting can say about identity, place, and culture. A private, invite-only event for collectors and art lovers, the opening featured a special live performance by musical group Rumbabarri - weaving sound into the experience of the work.
DOHART supported the production with exhibition catalog design and print coordination, and managed the international shipping of Ron Silver's paintings - transported unstretched from New York and coordinated with a local Barcelona frame maker to ensure the works were properly stretched and exhibition-ready on time.
